What Happens When You Show Up Every Day (Even When It’s Hard)

What happens when you show up every single day?
You gain confidence. You build credibility in your world. You become the go-to person because you’ve proven you’re committed.
You’re doing the hard things — even when it’s uncomfortable, even when you’re tired, even when the motivation is nowhere to be found.
I say this all the time: Motivation will NEVER sustain you.
You have to become so obsessed with what you’re doing that it becomes a part of you.
You wake up thinking about it. You go to bed thinking about it. You breathe it.
And trust me, I’m not speaking from theory — I’m speaking from experience.
These last 22 days of posting daily tips, blogs, and content for nurse leaders and entrepreneurs have pushed me way outside of my comfort zone.
I used to get so caught up in worrying about what I posted.
Would I get the wrong reaction?
Would someone misunderstand me?
How would I handle negative comments?
But here’s the thing: I don’t give a damn anymore.
I love what I do. And even if I get one like, one view, or one comment — I know I helped someone.
Let me give you some real numbers: My YouTube channel is approaching 100,000 views with almost 1,800 subscribers.
Do you know how hard that is to do without a team, without experience, without someone holding your hand?
Just me, providing education, being consistent.
And here’s the thing: I’m not posting fluff. I’m posting transformational content.
I’m giving my heart and sharing my truth so that I can help nurses and nurse leaders thrive, not just survive.
And the feedback? It fuels me. When someone comments,
“God sent me to you,” or “This helped me so much, sis,” or tells me about landing an interview — that’s my world.
Those are my people. I know I’m not for everyone, but the ones who get it. Get it.
So let this be your sign.
When I first started making videos, they were a mess 😂. And guess what?
They still aren’t perfect. But that’s the beauty of it.
I don’t like perfect. I like real. I like people to see me — flaws and all — because that’s how I show them what’s possible.
I show up, I do the damn thing, and I lead by example.
And you can too.
Stop waiting for perfect. Stop waiting for motivation.
Just show up. Go after that thing that keeps popping up in your dreams.
Because that’s where the magic happens.
