I've Been Silent... But Here's What's Really Been Going On

Let me be honest with you — it’s been a minute since I showed up with one of my long educational videos, emails, or deep-dive posts.

And it’s not because I don’t care. It’s because I’ve been in the middle of a transformation.

Recently, I packed up everything I knew and moved to another state — miles and miles away from family, friends, and my usual support system.

Why? Because I’m chasing a dream that requires me to be a little bit crazy… and a whole lot faithful.

To be an entrepreneur, you’ve got to be a little delusional — the kind of delusional that says, “I know this will work, even if I’m the only one who sees it right now.” And I’m still in that space. Still believing. Still building.

I just received my license in this new state and have been actively looking for a role as a Regional Nurse Consultant. And while that’s been tough, what’s even tougher is balancing it all — maintaining and operating two businesses, continuing to master my craft, and finding ways to serve my clients better every single day.

My core mission started with Directors of Nursing. I wanted to be the resource they could rely on — for leadership support, for guidance, for truth.

What I quickly realized is that a DON is only as good as the team they lead.

I expanded — now I work with CNAs, LPNs, and RNs, helping them build systems, improve outcomes, and solve problems that work for the whole team.

It’s rewarding. It’s challenging. And yes, it’s a lot of work to think outside the box every day.

But here’s the hardest part: sometimes you have no clients. Sometimes people want your time, your knowledge, and your energy — for free.

And they don’t always see how much you’ve invested in yourself to show up fully for them.

Still… I show up. Even if I help just one person — I’m grateful. Because that one person might go on to help someone else.

And that’s how change spreads.

So that’s what’s been going on. That’s why I’ve been quiet.

Not because I’m giving up — but because I’m still building, still believing, still working through it with faith and hard work.

Here’s to a new week.

Here’s to showing up, even when it’s hard.

Here’s to the faith-filled, slightly delusional entrepreneurs who are out here making it happen anyway.

But did you follow through?
